Shipping scheduling
After we receive your order, we will send you a separate email within 24 to 48 hours to your email on file about new fish care details. Please rely to that email. We will help you to enusre that you have everything ready before shipping your new fish. If you don’t receive our email after several days of your order, please check in your spam folder of the email address you provided. Shipping will be scheduled after our email communication of fish care details have been completed.
Packaging
We use insulated box for shipping to ensure that the temperature of the water stays within a tolerable range for our fish during transit. We package to ensure that fish could be comfortable and alive for 5 to 7 days. We use icepacks during warm weather to keep the box cool.
Please note: Heat packs are NOT needed for shipping goldfish because goldfish are fine in low temperatures. Cooler weather is safer for goldfish shipping because cold water can hold more oxygen. Heating the water would only cause premature oxygen depletion thus shorten the time which fish can stay alive in the bag.
UPS and FedEx are our shipping partners
We use UPS and FedEx express shipping carriers to ensure that your fish have the most reliable shipping service for their trip from our farm to your door steps.
National Free Shipping including Hawaii and Alaska
Shipping is free including to Hawaii and Alaska. Shipping service is provided by FedEx**. Delivery is usually two days. However, the actual delivery (day and time*) is dependent on FedEx and we have no control over it.
Please Note: For Hawaiian residents, you will need to provide a copy of Hawaiian import permit to info@goldenaquaria.com. We highly recommend you to have your permit ready before placing your order because it could take up to one month for permit processing. Please visit the link here for how to apply for an import permit.
* Service interruptions at the carrier side may occur which could cause delays in delivery, We cover DOA but do not provide any shipping refund or compensation in case of delivery delays.
** Overnight shipping can be requested and the cost is based on per quote to your address. We can not guarantee on time overnight delivery at all times because it is controlled by the carrier. We cover DOA but do not provide any shipping refund or compensation in case of delivery delays.
Live Arrival Guarantee
We guarantee 100% live arrival of your fish. However we will not be able to provide any further guarantee as we have no control over their environment once they arrive at your home. We will provide you useful information to assist you with the process of caring for your new fish on our acclimation and care page.
In Extremely Rare case of DOA
We understand that unfortunate incidents do happen although extremely rare. If the worst should happen with your newly arrived fish, please send us a video within three hours of recorded courier delivery time. The video should clearly show the bag unopened with the deceased fish inside of it. We will review the video and work with you on a compensation. The entire cost of the fish will be compensated if the video provides sufficient proof of the incident. We will not be able to accept or provide compensation for any claims submitted outside of the three-hour window. Please click here for more details on our sales policy.
